TOP 3D MODELER is an independent editorial project about 3D modeling — apps, tablets, workflows and the hardware around them.
We started it because most "best 3D app" lists online are written by people who clearly never opened the apps. We do the opposite: install, model, export, print, break things, and only then write the verdict.

How we test
Every app we review is installed and used on real hardware — currently an iPad Pro and a base iPad, plus a Galaxy Tab for Android coverage. For print-prep tools we follow the file all the way to a slicer and, when it matters, to a physical print. When we haven't tested something ourselves, we say so and link to sources that have.
Independence
Rankings on this site are editorial decisions. No developer pays for placement. Some links go to app stores — if a store pays a referral commission, that's how we keep the lights on; it never changes a score or a ranking. Details are in our editorial policy.
